We’re looking for a person with a perfect mix of soft skills and customer-centric approach and an ability to understand complex technical issues. Someone who dares to ask a lot of questions, doesn’t get satisfied with simple answers, feels excited about gathering requirements, and understanding dozens of possible use cases of our software with its whole complexity. At the end of that road, you’ll become a real product expert – both internally and externally. Sounds interesting? Just give us a while and we will prove it really is!

These are challenges waiting for you:

  • Providing technical input in answering RFIs/RFPs from potential clients
  • Backing up sales team with technical support and deep understanding of products’ use cases in the whole sales cycle
  • Gathering customers requirements and mapping them onto our product functionalities
  • Translating business needs into technical language (and the other way around)
  • Ensuring thorough understanding of customer goals among all team members involved
  • Preparing and running proof-of-concept demonstrations
  • Running technical and end-user trainings
  • Designing and suggesting how Piwik PRO product might get integrated into customer’s IT landscape
  • Supporting operations teams with planning and executing product implementations
  • Making sure that customers’ needs and inquiries get communicated to product teams in an ongoing and smooth manner, participating in roadmap and features design process
  • Providing both internal teams and customers with up-to-date insights into competitors landscape
  • Supporting other team members in complex technical issues
  • Supporting sales and marketing efforts by participating in trade shows and events

To cope with them, you’ll definitely need:

  • Customer-facing role experience accompanied by truly impressive English communication skills
  • A solid technical background, including practical knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS), SQL and databases (an ability of creating queries would be helpful)
  • Great presentation skills and an ability to deal with anxiety and stage fright!
  • Previous experience in web-dev industry
  • Familiarity with marketing/analytics technology landscape and tools
  • Can-do attitude (the first question you ask yourself after getting a challenging task is not “why me?” but “what’s the deadline?”)
  • Outstanding self- and time management skills
  • Ability to manage flexible work schedule (our customers are located all around the world and time zones still exist unfortunately) and readiness for business trips

If you aspire to be our perfect candidate, you may also need:

  • Previous experience as a technical support/ implementation specialist
  • Experience implementing web analytics solutions
  • Hands-on experience in gathering requirements and translating them into specific product functionalities
  • Ability to automate your work with scripts (Bash/Python/other)
  • Communicative German skills
