Tech Lead

We are looking for someone with strong technical background who is not afraid of communication with the client and is willing to take on new challenges. You’re our person if you: take pleasure in designing solutions such as autoscaling high-traffic platforms; like collaborating in a team environment; derive satisfaction from knowledge-sharing. AdTech knowledge is not necessary but very welcome – we’ll deliver you a full introduction to it during internal trainings.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Design and development of AdTech applications
  • Analyzing project requirements and suggesting solutions
  • Preparing subjects for architect meetings (internal meeting related to development of the designed platform) and discussions with other team members
  • Participation in technical calls with clients along with the Project Manager
  • Creating test scenarios for various proposed and implemented solutions
  • Designing changes in platform infrastructure
  • Making technical decisions connected to implementation (on your own and in cooperation with the Project Manager)

We are waiting for you, if you:

  • Are skilled in designing software on a macroarchitecture level
  • Have previous experience in designing scalable and distributed applications
  • Can cope with high-algorithmic-complexity solutions
  • Know AWS infrastructure components (big plus for being experienced in: Kinesis Streams, API GateWay, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Redshift, DataPipeline)
  • Are familiar with platforms based on serverless & microservices architecture
  • Are able to plan high-level infrastructure testing
  • Have good command of:
    • Python
    • Databases issues (SQL & NoSQL)
    • Docker
    • JavaScript
    • Security issues
  • Get along well with people and embrace teamwork
  • Have good command of English (B2/C1), both written and spoken

How do we work?

We mostly focus on research topics related to machine learning. The product we’re developing for our customer is innovative and based on the newest tools dedicated to data processing and building self-learning systems. During our daily work we often use pair programming, which helps us get familiar with our colleagues’ approach to a given issue. More importantly, it helps us find the optimal solution for a specific problem. We also highly appreciate the opportunity to share experiences, develop our skills and gain knowledge in new areas.

What makes us special?

We are a truly unique team! We’re the first team in the company implementing deep learning at the production level. We lucky to have a colleague who is a specialist in machine learning (also first one in the whole company!) and loves to share his knowledge. Joining our diverse team, you will also meet another colleague deeply involved in developing Mozilla projects in his free time. We put an emphasis on brainstorming and we’re very attached to our white board that is home to complex diagrams and architecture models developed during our discussions. In crucial phases of the project we organize so-called architects meetings, inviting the most experienced developers from other teams, discussing and making significant decisions. Above all, we are never afraid of technical challenges and are full of positive energy. That creative energy drives us to work hard to discover and develop new technologies.
