Piwik PRO provides an analytics and tag management suite tailored to the individual needs of enterprise clients. The Piwik PRO team consists of seasoned web analytics experts, developers, administrators, and project coordinators. We have advised on and delivered a wide range of successful implementations, and we take enormous pride in helping businesses and public sector organizations (such as Accenture, HP, European Commision, the governments of Netherlands and Canada) thrive.

The chosen candidate will join our On-Premises team and get to cooperate with enterprise-level customers that are recognized worldwide. He/she will be involved in the platform’s development, implementing our application, and customizing our solutions on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of a dozen or so people consisting of project coordinators, administrators and developers:
    • Ensuring a good atmosphere in the team, spotting problems and looking for solutions
    • Identification of team members’ development needs, ensuring support in building their career paths within Piwik PRO
    • Coordinating communication with the teams responsible for particular product components, marketing and sales
    • Team budget supervision
  • Work organisation in agile methodologies:
    • Keeping effective workflow between the subteams
    • Preparation of a duty roster for people working in the rotation scheme (ensuring constant avaliability of team members for US clients)
    • Identification of recruitment needs, coordination and active participation in hiring new team members
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction:
    • Feedback collection and identification of current customer needs regarding new product features
    • Forwarding suggestions to the product team
    • Detecton and reaction to potential impediments and problems during contact with the client
  • Collecting and reporting regional results such as:
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Consumption of resources
    • Review of periodic goals (annual, quarterly)

About you:

  • You have an experience in managing a dispersed team (min. 10 team members of a different specialization), gained in tech/IT companies:
    • Excellent work organisation and an ability to transfer it onto team
    • An ability to stimulate and support team members in their development
    • Practise in giving feedback
  • You have been already cooperating with clients in a B2B setting
  • You are not lacking initiative and proactive approach
  • You have great communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a practical knowledge of motivation and methods of building team commitment
  • You can show off your English skills (C1 needed for contact with US-based clients)
  • You are ready to work in flexible hours

Nice to have:

  • Web analytics and Ad Tech knowledge
  • Technical knowledge on:
    • PHP, JS
    • Linux, servers administration
    • MySQL and databases
    • Applications, networks and systems security
  • Experience in a technical position (web developer or system administrator) – a big plus!

How do we work?

Based on the two kinds of problems we meet in our everyday work, our workflow comprises of two agile methodologies: SCRUM (for product development, scalability, and automation) and Kanban (for maintaining our clients’ infrastructure). We care a lot about the quality of our solutions, therefore, we implement automated tests and look after every task to ensure it passes the code review.
